24 HOUR COMIC is turning into the Little Film That Could! It’s on iTunes main page on the pre sales charts… #2 on docs and #30 overall right up there with Snatched and Rough Night! Not bad for a tiny budget doc! Thanks to everyone who pre-ordered!! If you haven’t and you like supporting indie projects you have one more day to preorder. See if we can become #1 doc by this Tuesday when we release!

Meanwhile, the theatrical screenings of the film last week at the Laurelhurst went as well as we could possibly have hoped. There was a near-full house for the screening Thursday evening, and a robust turnout for the matinee on Friday. Thanks to everyone who came out!

If you’re in the Portland area, you have one more chance to catch the film on a big screen before it releases online. There will be a show at Vancouver’s historic Kiggins Theater Tuesday night, July 11 at 7:30 PM. I will be in attendance along with director Milan Erceg (side note: I am using Dragon Dictate to write this post; it turned Milan’s name into meanwhile nursing), and many of the participating artists including my daughter Rebecca. Hosted by comics legends Jacob and Arnold Pander!

Gratifyingly, local media has taken something of an interest. Check out this on-the-whole-positive review in the Willamette Week! And if you missed hearing Friday’s interview with me and Milan
at KB00-FM, you can watch it on video here.

There will be one more screening that I know of, at San Diego Comics Convention on July 22. I will blog more about that in due course.
