My first call for 24 Hour Comic sponsors a week ago attracted no response, so I have crafted this shorter one tailored for Hipbone Studio regulars:

24 Hour Comic: Winston Is Good!
I drew my 21st 24 Hour Comic alone in my studio on this past 24 Hour Comics Day, Saturday and Sunday, October 3-4, beginning at 8 am and ending up exactly 24 hours later. The comic was drawn as a fundraiser for various Democratic political campaigns, including Biden for President, Amy McGrath for Senate, and the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee. Sponsors pledged a given amount for each page I completed.

24 Hour Comic Day Update
Here’s an update on my plans for this coming 24 Hour Comic Day. Once again, I drew this strip in an hour. I’ve reformatted it for the website, but the original is five pages long- last week, I managed six pages in an hour, so I expect to complete my 24 pages in four to five hours. I’m still accepting pledges, but it appears that the email link on this site doesn’t work, so if you want to pledge, message me through Facebook. I haven’t chosen a cause myself, so donate your pledge to a charity of your own choosing. Pledgers will receive a printed zine of the results. I’ll be back to report after the day. Wish me luck!
Round Black Glasses Begins!
Today I begin serializing ROUND BLACK GLASSES on Patreon, my 18th and most recent 24 Hour Comic, which I drew on 24 Hour Comic Day 2017 between 9 am Saturday October 7th, and 9 am Sunday October 8th, at the Enthusiasm Collective in Portland, OR. This was my first ever digital 24 Hour comic, drawn and colored in Photoshop and laid out and lettered in Adobe Indesign. This week’s installment posts pages one and two out of 17 (I fell somewhat behind on my plan, but I did manage to complete a “Gaiman Variation”, what is what you call it when you work for 24 hours, but produce less than 24 pages).

24 Hour Comic Day In Eugene
24 Hour Comic Day is coming around again this Saturday, and since there is no Portland event this year, I have accepted an invitation to draw my lucky thirteenth 24 hour comic at Downtown Initiative For The Visual Arts (DIVA) in Eugene, Oregon. I’ll let their press release tell it:
